Vincent- After reading about the substrate everyone else on this list used, I started using crushed coral and a little bit of leftover gravel (from our other fish tank). Previously I used nothing. I’ve found that the tank is a lot easier to keep clean now and our dbt does a lot of coral munching. Rowena
