Glad to hear that you’re fine – I was sure that peace officers from outlying cities would probably be drafted! I was reading about a structural engineering professor who stated that the towers could not have possibly stood for more than 2 hours after the crash. This is due to the central core melting at heats of 800C caused by the jet fuel fires. He also stated that all emergency workers should have been evacuated within the first hour. What a terrible waste of lives, but I am confident that a more resilient and united America will rise from the ash heaps of this tragedy.
