The one reason I can think of "that salt would enter into it" goes with my belief that a Diamondback, coming from brackish water, will be healthier in brackish water. So, to that belief it would stand to reason that a healthier turtle will grow quicker. Now, this only stands to reason for those of us that believe it is better for Diamondbacks to be kept in brackish water. For those people who do not believe there is a significant difference then salt "would not enter into it". This, therefore, brings us full circle to the original question.......Salt or Not Jimmy
