Julie, Why do you change the water so much? I was having problems with one terrapin having shell rot and it was a battle that went on for over a year and a half. I was telling this to someone and they asked me how often I changed my water and I told them about every week or two. They told me that I was changing out the water too often. When I moved everyone inside the water stayed did not turn green like outside and I started changing the water every other month and the shell rot stopped. I now have UV light filters and the water is so clear it looks new still and I now only change it about three times a year. Anyways that has been my experance, what ever works for you keep doing it 🙂 Jonathan SM
