One thing I have done for magnet driven pumps is to soak the moving parts in vinegar or CLR for a little bit. It removes calcium deposits and makes the pump work like new. I did this cleaning chore to an old pump I had in a pond and the thing worked great after that. thanks, Jason — Scott
