OK, most of my experience is with lizards so maybe this is my bias. Is it possible that Dbt’s dont require as much uvb as some lizards like Bearded Dragons and Iguanas do? I mean Igs and BD’s hang out in the sun ALL day for the most part. Do Dbt’s stay lurking partially submerged or in the underbrush in the wild therefore not soaking up the uv like the lizards? I mean, I would have less problem using the GE’s on my Redfoot than on my ig as I know the Redfoot is not a basker and hangs out under the trees a lot. As for my comment about this not being a real discussion it was more the tone of one of the letters I wasn’t enjoying so much.
