Bob, Yes, the sailfin mollies will scavenge just like the guppies. However, you will probably encounter the same situation as the guppies in that they don’t really get much of a chance to scavenge since they get gulped up so quickly. If you are really interested in pursuing raising mollies as feeders, I would recommend a separate tank and lots of floating plants to provide cover for the fry. Acclimating them is also important. You would want to adjust the salinity of their environment slowly (over .5-1hr’s time) by slowly adding the dbt water to theirs. But, we can go over the specific steps in detail later. Cheers. Chun
