Thanks Vickie, The feeder goldfish is a very good suggestion. At least I would know that they weren’t starving. But I tried that recently with feeders and found there is one big problem – I am one of the folks that keep my DBT’s in brackish. A “rosies” feeder goldfish is at the bottom of the brackish tank not moving or is sucked next to the filter strainer within 5 minutes in this environment. The DBTs don’t seem as interested in dead feeders. I guess I can try it again. I wonder if anyone has any ideas about brackish water feeders? About the feeding tub they can’t see through, that is a suggestion worth exploring. My DBT’s are extremely active and are preoccupied with this chasing their reflection in the main tank as well as the feeding tank. But, they used to eat eagerly in that clear rubbermaid tank okay before. It’s puzzling. Bob
