Hello Rick, I like the 100watt incandescents as well. I definitely checked the GE bulbs out when they were first available. Look again at “full spectrum”, I think its “wide” or “broad” spectrum. Then look at the graphed spectrum on the side, a nice coverage of the visible spectrum. Let me know if you see any intense peaks in the UV range. You can make anything look like gold if you hire the right marketing dept. Don’t get me wrong, I love the price and these should do fine for terrapins other than hatchlings especially if only in the winter months. Petwarehouse and a few others offer the equivalent in OSU and Tetra for around $6. They have similar visible spectra but the latter have intense peaks in the UV range.
