Julie, The small container has an eye dropper at the top. I just put a few drops in each eye of the dbt. The dbt doesn’t seem to mind at all. I think that you could also spike their food with it (check the directions) – I recall also putting some on their cuttle bone once when I once suspected a problem. It turned out I didn’t have a problem. My dbts were swimming with their outer lids closed and I thought it was vitamin A deficiency. Actually it was after I did too big a water change and they were just reacting to the chlorine. As a cautionary note, I have read that too much Vitamin A is also toxic to turtles. So, I wouldn’t overdo the vitamin A drops treatment. Bob
