Hi Vicki, And all diamondback terrapins thanks for the welcome. By the way I am keeping my four terrapins in a big container which is about 3 and a half feet by 1 feet deep. This container is used to keep Koi fish. So we thought it would be a convenient form of keeping them. We don’t know exactly when she wants to lay eggs but we noticed that when she laid her eggs she will try to go to a corner and rest up on another terrapin. She layed two yesterday but we were not at home so we missed the eggs and they were eaten. I will try to take snap shots of them and post it in the egroups as soon as possible. Okay is the incubator at the feed shop expensive and where is the nearest feed shop for me as I am staying in Ang Mo Kio. I will go the garden centre near my place and buy the soil and try to rest the female in a separate container. Hope this helps. What about those of you who have been keeping terrapins do you all have much success in having hatchlings? My hubby John is the one who really takes the real care of the terrapins with my daughter Kim but I work on the reading materials and resources. Thanks for your help and interest. From Shirin and John
