Robin, The worm my dbt had wasn’t “lil” – it was about a foot long! 🙁 If this wets your appetite go back and read Message #506 and Message #564. My dbt’s worm was a tapeworm – it doesn’t sound like yours is a tapeworm. Eventually the vet technician taught me how to give the dbt shots to deworm the dbt. Tapeworms are hard to get rid of and booster shots every two weeks are required. Also, all dbt’s in the tank have to be treated because there are probably eggs around in the tank and filter. You need to clean the filter and the tank to get rid of any worm eggs. There may be other ways to treat the water in the tank to kill the worms and their eggs but I haven’t done that so far. Bob
