Sorry for the mistake, but I previously posted the same question asking about a 55 gallon tank. I have a 75 gallon tank not 55. I plan on building an above tank basking area out of plexiglass with a ZooMed PowerSun UVA/UVB 100watt bulb attached, I also will be using a Eheim Classis 2217 cannister filter and an inch or two of crushed coral as a substrate on my 75 gallon tank. How does this type of setup sound for 2 male centrata dbt’s? I have years of experience with reef tanks, but this is my first with aquatic turtles so any tips/recomendations would be greatly appreciated!! My orginal post is below: Hi all. I’m in the process of getting setup for 2 male dbt’s that I will hopefully be getting this fall. I currently have a 55 gallon bare tank that I was planning on using, but I’m afraid that may be a bit to small. What do you all think?? If that would be to small for 2, would a 55 gallon be alright for a single male? I plan on building an above the tank basking area, for what its worth. THANKS!!!
