I just got a pair of Western Diamondback Terripins. Bit i have a few questions. Well they both have swollen eyes. I am treating them and they seem to be responding. — How long on average until they eyes are back to normal. Another prob is with the male. on the bottom of his shell it looks like he has shell rot. The reptile breeder that i got it from said that he took it to the vet and its not shell rot, it will eventually come off as the turtle grows. He said if i really wanted to i can rub come neosporin on it. I do trust him but i want the best for my terrapins. I have them in a 50 gallon pond, indoors, with brackish watter. Thanks for your time Jon
What are you treating the swollen eyes with? Coudl the stuff onthe plastron simply be calcium deposits? This breeder doesn’t sound too competant! Julie krazyjon44 wrote:
