Hi, I just created a folder containing some pictures of my two diamondback terrapins and freshwater tank. Can any of you confirm the the race/species of the male and female? I believe the female is a concentric probably northern… Also, note the majority of the tank setup is diy: diy ~120gal tank (plywood/epoxy/glass) diy tank stand diy wet/dry filter and sump diy basking platform and ramp link to photos http://photos.groups.yahoo.com/group/diamondbackterrapins/lst?.dir=/Ku rt%27s&.src=gr&.order=&.view=t&.done=http% 3a//photos.groups.yahoo.com/group/diamondbackterrapins/lst%3f% 26.dir=/%26.src=gr%26.view=t Other tank inhabitants include several native fish species from Florida. I’m putting the finishing touches on the cabinent doors for the stand and will add photos.

Hi Kurt, The male would be classified as a chesapeake nothern, possibly even a Florida East Coast. The female is definitely a concentric carolinan. Bear in mind though that the chesapeakes and concentrics are just hobbyiest terms for these and are most likely integrades between several different subspecies. Very nice specimens! -Chun — In diamondbackterrapins@yahoogroups.com, “k_o_reinhart”
