Hello! I’ve been a member for awhile, just not doing much. My turtle recently died, Lenni, (5 inch dia) and I’m looking for a new friend to keep. Any for sale or adoption? I have a rather nice 45 gallon set up that I just hate to leave empty or sell. I’m looking for a smaller turtle, so if anyone had hatchlings, that would be wonderful. I have no other pets, except a few fish that Lenni couldn’t catch, a heat lamp, suspended basking area (homemade), water heater, and penguin filters. Over half the tank is water, so any turtle that really likes to swim would be quite content with this tank. I can get pictures, if interested. -Cat

Hi Cat, Unfortunately this is not the best time of the year to find someone that is selling diamondback terrapins. But I am sure if you wait until summer you should be able to get one. All of my adults are hibernating right now but they should be laying eggs in April and May. I will have some hatchlings available in August. I have more information about my availability and waiting list on my website.
