What is the “average” adult size of a DBT? The sizes I have seen quoted in various “Turtle Info” places range from 5″ on up into the double digits… (5″ seemed like a rather small adult to me…) -Abby : )
5 to 6″ for a male and i would say 6 to 8 for a female.
I’ve read of females reaching 9″, but I wouldn’t expect anything bigger than that. I’d be happy if my female maxed at 6″. She’s only pushing 3″ now… ๐ Walt —–Original Message—– From: jkfactor [mailto:jkfactor@…] Sent: Monday, April 15, 2002 10:48 AM To: diamondbackterrapins@yahoogroups.com Subject: [diamondbackterrapins] Re: Adult size 5 to 6″ for a male and i would say 6 to 8 for a female.
Many adult males are less than 5 inches. Males are generally pretty small, but do vary considerably. I agree that 9 inches would be a large adult female. Todd azmarston wrote:
