i was thinking about it. but the last batch i got from them.. they were all sick. it is a good deal though at 25 bucks. i think they are probably left overs. — In diamondbackterrapins@y…, Todd Stockwell
I hadn’t thought about them being leftovers, but could be. I have heard a lot of bad news about the wcs, as we pretty much expected. I will say that I have had some success with treating terrapins showing front leg paralysis with Baytril injections. I’m lucky to once again have a reptile vet with experience and interest here. He told me last week at the local reptile show (which he now sets up a table at each month!) that he has been following an online vet discussion about a bacterial disease that seems to be showing up in wild turtles in Louisiana and the south that attacks the “skin” around the bones, thus causing the front leg paralysis that seems to be one of the symptoms the wc terrapins coming out of Louisiana seem to exhibit so frequently.
