This is really more of a human interest story than a scientific report but i thpugh some of you might appreciate it. I used to live in Maryland and i always wondered when they would get around to figuring out a compromise between crab trappers and the terp population. the article mentions a claim made by Gov Glendening that this was to be finaly doen last year.. Well, as i recall Glendening was one of those politicians who was so hard to take seriously he was nearly a caricature of himself. I also find it interesting that the Maryland DNR didn’t think anyone was breeding terps far away from Maryland; I guess you guys out there dont exist huh?
