I have seen dbts grow as fast as to 5 inches in a year on pellets and no hibernation. I stated before that it was not age or size alone that determines this. one summer afetr reaching a mature size they mifgt lay eggs with low fertility and clutch size. the second summer after reaching maturity they will be most likely to have a nice fertile clutch. So as early as three years. macros are as different as people. from the wild some may intend to remove your finger if given a chance while others won’t bite if you try and make them. I have a male thatopens his mouth around females and holds it open but won’t bite them or me just other males. I have another that is passive to the other dbts but wants to remove my flesh a diamond-shaped plug at a time. bbm
