Hi Everyone, I recently just purchased my first Northern DBT and I have to say I’m in love! What a personality these turtles have and they are so beautiful. I’ve taken two videos of my turtle and I was wondering if the darker black areas on the middle of it’s back are normal? http://youtu.be/Q_kUubswaIs http://youtu.be/Rd0s9_BFR1s On another note how often or do you even do water changes? I have two Aquaclear 70 (300) filter’s on my 70 gallon tank as Jonathan suggests. And one last question is it normal for these turtles to be nippers lol? Mine actively goes for my fingers thinking their food but he/she is very friendly. To be fair he/she also attacks bubbles thinking their food! Thanks in advance for your responses and have a great day! Matt
