I was wondering if it___s true that Diamondback Terrapins live happily only in brackish water?
You’ll find much debate on this in our archives. A number of members of this group do keep cb dbts in fresh water. I would say that I have some cbs that have lived “happily” all their lives in fresh water to date, if it’s possible to judge a dbt’s happiness. I’ve found most wcs do better in brackish. My most recent thoughts on this were posted Nov. 6 if you want to check those out along with other posts on this thread. Do you already have a dbt or are you looking to get one? Todd Adrienne
