i’m wanting to buy a diamondback terrapin and i’m not sure whether to have the brackish water or just use freshwater. some say fresh is ok and others say they won’t survive. i thought if i used fresh i could just have the feeder goldfish stay in the tank w/it so it could eat anytime, but w/the brackish, i don’t think the fish would survive. i just need some pointers. i’m new to the turtle thing and i was hoping someone who uses freshwater could tell me if theirs is ok. as far as i know, this turtle has lives in freshwater all it’s life…so maybe that helps? i don’t know. someone please help me here…i’d appreciate it. thanks.
