Broken jaw (beak), can this be healed?

Hello everyone! Hope everyone in this group have happy new year. I have a question regarding broken lower jaw of my little baby. He is about 1.5 inch baby. I recently found that this little guy has lost little chip at the end of low beak. He was just fine 2 days ago. He does live alone in small fish tank. He eats and play fine as far as I see. But when he close his mouth, I see little hole, size of about 1 mm. (very end of low beak) Can he recover his lower beak as he grow? If not, will this do any harm as he become larger?
