    I was just wondering what exactly is a Concentric Diamondback, i can’t find much about them

    Scientifically, there is no such thing as a concentric diamondback. The northern subspecies used to have the latin name Malaclemys centrata concentrica. The term “concentric” is used nowadays by the herp industry to describe the beautifully marked diamondbacks with bold lines and blotches against pure white skin and dark concentric patterns on their scutes. These are usually of the carolinan subspecies, Malaclemys terrapin centrata. Chun Tail Moderator
