I would like to get everyones input on this if possible. I have a number of DBT in an outdoor pond. I have had them all for 2-6 years. Reciently one of my females I keep finding out of the pond laying in the corned of the pen or next to the pond. In the past she has been a very active turtle..eating everything in sight. When I have found her out of the pond in the past she would gobble up her food and scurry back into the pond. Now, she just does not seem to have any energy. Lays on the side with her eyes closed. We have had a lot of rain over the past few days but the temps have been above 70. She has good body weight. Her eyes seem to have a sunkin in look about them. I am very concerend..any thoughts? Thanks Mike

I don’t know if this could be it but could it be “acid rain”? My mother lives in Kansas and occasionally they have very hard rains that really screws up the chemistry in her pool and her pond. I think it has caused problems for her koi. Just a thought. Vickie
