I read the recent poll about coral bedding and I incourage everyone to vote. I am a very big beleiver in the importance of having curshed coral at the bottom of your tanks. In the will diamondbacks eat a lot of clams and they chew on coral, which keeps they beak from getting to overgrown. Crushed coral is one of the best ways to keep their for beak from getting built up with extra bone incaptivity. I have had some that couldn’t close they mouths all the way because they had too much beak build up and after a couple of months of eating and chewing on the crushed coral their beaks returned to normal. Plus that get extra calcium from the coral. Jonathan http://www.diamondbackterrapin.com
I like using cuttlebone for this purpose with all the species in my collection. It does a really good job! Julie Jonathan Helms wrote:
