Hi all, Does anyone give their dbt’s cuttlebone to munch on? And if so how do you go about it? My guys have been biting on the rocks and I was wondering if they need something hard to gnaw on. As a matter of fact, I do give my terps cuttlebone. I usually lodge a piece in between rocks, etc. to hold it down and to keep it out of plain sight. I think cuttlebone or any other hard calcium substance is good for them since they’re used to biting and ingesting periwinkle, mussel, clam and crab shells in the wild. Glad your terps are doing well – I think you definitely made the right choices with the amount or research you did and finding a good source for them. Cheers. -Chun

Bill G. I give cuttlebone to both my Map and the RES. I just break off a piece of the cuttlebone and drop it in. They just chase it down and chomp on it. J.M. Moon – Peaceful Acres http://home.earthlink.net/~peacefulacres Do not do an act of kindness, instead live a life of kindness.
