    Hi everyone I was just wondering how long can a dbt stay out of water and be dry.I usually let mine bask under a heat light for no more than an hour.Is it safe to let them bask longer?I do this manully,because he will not bask himself.Anyones help on this would be appreiciated. Thanx,Mike

    Your DBT will enter the water when they need to be in water. Mine will sometimes bask all day. Julie Mike Dunn wrote:

    Mine literally NEVER bask. Never. I wonder why that is. They have access and I had seen one of them up on the bark one time some time ago. Every time I look at them they are swimming around. Carole
