Hi, I’m new at this,but, here is my 1st question.Are all these terrapins saltwater or freshwater?2nd, does a baby terripan require a large tank?
Hello All, Tonight, while observing my dbs, I noticed a thin flat string like substance hanging out of one of the dbs anus. It appears to be a tapeworm as it looks segmented, but it didn’t appear to move. Over a foot of this substance, or ‘tapeworm’ was removed from his anus. If this is tapeworm, how can I treat it and should the other two dbs be treated as well as a precaution. And last question, is it contagious to humans? I’ve washed my hands after handling them, but I scrubbed extra hard tonight. I do not like parasites. Any help or ideas would be most helpful.
