Hi All: Just a heads-up to inform everyone that I have copied the entire Diamondback Terrapins geocities site over to the neoTerrapin.com server: http://www.neoTerrapin.com/home This means no more bandwidth issues and page shutdowns! Terrapin Breeder has been updated and Terrapin Keeper will be updated as well as soon as time permits. I will be posting only the best pics on Terrapin Keeper so drop me a note if you want your collection featured online. Hi All, My terrapin Shelby has been exhibiting some odd behavior lately. He is in a tank with large stones, small gravelly stones, and water. The stones form sort of an island in between two swimming areas, giving him a place to bask. Anyway, lately he has taken to moving the stones around. He picks up the small ones in his mouth, and moves them into the water and then spits them out, and sometimes he even pushes the big stones around. He has managed to move one that is about the size of a grapefruit, and Shelby is pretty small still. Like, smaller than a tangerine. Anyway, have any of you seen this behavior before? Do you know what it’s all about? No worries as he seems healthy, but it sure is weird. NicoleStephen Chew
