I wrote in a little over a month ago about a health issue regarding a WC adult female with a a loss of movement on left side due to a respiratory infection. She saw a vet and with advice from Margette was put on baytril. At the time the vet mentioned that he would be interested in knowing if she would regain movement in those legs affected, which she hasn’t. I know believe have to come to a decision on wether to euthanize her. She eats well but cannot get around. She cannot control her direction and she cannot get out of the water even in the simplest of paths to bask. I’m worried that the condition will encourage a host of health problems. Can anyone offer more advice or thier own experience with something like this. Thank you Robert

I had a box turtle that had been struck by a car with resulting nerve damage and loss movement for several months on one side. He slowly recovered and is now fine. I would wait a little longer and see what happens —–Original Message—– From: speedimager [mailto:utneimagesinmotion@…] Sent: Wednesday, August 04, 2004 4:58 PM To: diamondbackterrapins@yahoogroups.com Subject: [diamondbackterrapins] Difficult Decision I wrote in a little over a month ago about a health issue regarding a WC adult female with a a loss of movement on left side due to a respiratory infection.
