eating/3 mo old terrapin

On average, how much food should a 3 month old terrapin eat? Ex: How many reptomin pellets per feeding? How many guppies a week? Anything to give me an idea if mine is on target.
I have heard from many sources to feed your turtle as many turtle sticks as would fit the size of their head. Since we keep the fish in with our turtles it is hard to regulate how many they eat. If you are keeping the fish in with the turtle, just try and keep track of how many you started with and how many are being eaten. One time our turtle went crazy and ate 18 guppies in one night. They were small fish, but I held off feeding him for the next few days. He must have learned because nothing like that has happened again. If I notice a sizable drop in the fish number I lower the amount of sticks I feed.
