    I bought some of this b/c someone rec’d it here awhile back but I’m a bit slow, lol!! WHERE do I put this in my filter? I have 2 Magnum 350’s… does it go where the charcoal would go or around the container where the sponge-type sleeve would go? lol! Thanks in advance!! Crysti

    Crysti, Put it in the carbon container, maybe half and half with the substrat on top. I have a feeling you’ll have a big mess on your hands if you put it loosely around the container where the sleeve is… -Stephen C — In diamondbackterrapins@yahoogroups.com, “sugarcomaxoxo”

    Hi Crysti, I fill the entire plastic container with the Eheim Substrat (and no Charcoal at all). When I used to fill this up with the Charcoal, the flow on my Magnum 350 would slow down to a trickle within 4 weeks! Since the Eheim media is physically larger than carbon, I don’t have a problem with it clogging up any longer.
