I think my db is getting kind of porky. The weird thing is that she only eats feeder goldfish. She doesn’t like floater sticks, the shrimp pellets, turtle treat, cooked shrimp, clams, etc. I think she occasionally nibbles on a spinach leaf and we put some vitamin in her water (is it reptomin or something?). This only happened when we brought her in for the winter…when she was outside, she ate hardly anything (partially because we didn’t know what she ate at the time). When we do put feeder goldfish in her tank, she will basically eat until she can’t catch anymore. It doesn’t matter how many fish we put in there, she keeps going until they’re gone. I’ve got a binge eater on my hands. Is there any harm in having a turtle that is too fat? I think Todd mentioned something to me about the legs bulging out of the shell and I have to admit, that she (the turtle-LOL) has pretty chubby thighs. Anyone else have fat turtles? Should I do anything about it? Rowena
