feeding… overfeeding??

Hey everyone! I am worried that I might not be feeding my turtle correctly. His shell is about 2″ and I feed him 5 food sticks a day and 2 small dried shrimp. He always seems so hungry though. When I walk by the tank he always seems to be begging for food. I don’t know if it’s because he’s hungry or if he thinks I am going to feed him because I am by the tank. Does is seem like I am feeding him the right amount? Too little or too much? Thanks
