feeding schedule

does anyone follow a feeding schedule? example: Day 1 – feeder fish Day 2 – fruits & veggies Day 3 – greens etc…. I am trying to provide the best possible diet for my babies, so please share…..

I am assuming you have Diamondback hatchlings? I feed my hatchling Reptomin once everyday and once they get about three inches I start feeding them every other day but I try to mix-up their diet with other types of commercial food. I feed them Aquamax, Reptomin, Flukers, and Murzi. They tend to mainly eat the Aquamax and Reptomin. Feeder fish can bring in bacteria. I prefer to offer them fish that have been frozen and then defrosted. Once my terrapins are four inches I offer them smelt every other day along with the commercial food. My Diamondback Terrapins won’t eat any greens unless they are water plants that are growing in the tank. Other types of water turtles do however eat green.
