has anyone ever tried this purigen???http://www.seachem.com/Products/product_pages/Purigen.htmland im planning a breeding tank a 150 gallon stock tank with a nice ramp up to a sand box, with a canister filter.i was thinking about keeping 2 females with one male in this tank??

I have 2 females and 1 male in a 200 gallon and they are very happy, so I think the 150 would work out pretty good. Just make sure that you have sufficient filtration……..2 large canister filters at the bare minimum………..a large sump below the tank would probably be better. As far as the Purigen, I have never used it but it looks like pretty good stuff. I like almost all products that Seachem makes………..they do a lot of research on their products and are known for their top of the line quality. I like the idea of being able to regenerate it so you can use it over and over again, but using bleach to do so sounds a bit tricky??? I might give it a try myself.
