filter system

Hi, My DBT needs a new filter. She lives in a 40 gallon tank we’re looking to upgrade size. Additionally, I’d like to have an exterior filter system to give her more room. What filters would you suggest for a 40+ gallon tank? We have an interior one at the moment, but it needs replacement. Open to suggestions! Thank you, Lex

Hi there. any of the canister filters will work. The easiest ones are the Magnum 250 and 350 filters. I checked on Petco website & when I typed in Magnum 250 canister, it gave me the Marineland Hot Pro System.. is this the filter you were referring to? I was glad this post was here, as I am having a very difficult time with keeping the water clear {I currently use two in tank filter systems & they are not doing the job, even after a thorough cleaning!} Thanx for any and all replies! Thanks for the reply! The one I was referring to was a Zoomed filter. As i researched some more I noticed at some instances it got poor reviews so I’m open to branching out of zoomed products. I will look into the Magnum canister and see if that is a good option for Dino (the DBT).Thank you again,Lexie and Dino From: Purpod
