Fish with the DBT

I have kept tiger barbs and dwarf albino gourami which has seemed to work out nice. They are fast and my dbt doesnt seem to have any interest in them. I keep alive the fact that fish are typically part of a turtles diet so I wouldnt be heartbroken if a fish got eaten. I do keep the fish in a decent size school. Anyone else kept a mixed terrarium and if so what has the success rate been with keeping fish.. and what kind. It is great to keep them together for the turtles exercise and more movement in the tank.
