Hi, I found a wild hatchelling and I have had the DBT for a month. It seems to be doing very well. It’s obvious it has been growing and has been shedding its skin for about a week. PH is around 7.8 with no ammonia. It is housed in a 10gal with an aqua clear filter water heater and heat lamp. Water kept at 80 and basking area around 85. I have a dock, various plastic plants that it climbs and hides in. I started feeding small crickets and worked to guppies then the baby shrimp and now I have it eating tertamin baby pellets. I find the DBT to be very active and ravenous. It seems to always want food. I have worked away from the live stuff so I have been offering mainly the baby shrimp, tetramin and krill that I break up into small pieces. Is this diet varied enough to sustain the turtle? Is too much protein? Should I offer anything else? Can I offer the live food for additional vitamins occasionally? Are supplements needed? As always I appreciate the great replies! Vince
