I feed my hatchlings blood worms, cut up (bite sized) meal worms and cut up night crawlers. Some on this list feed commercial pelleted food (Reptomin) trout chow. But I believe when you are trying to get a hatchling to eat you need wiggling pieces to attract their attention.

I feed my little guy meal worms. Once I got the water tempature up (70-78 degrees) and bought the meal worms, he found his appetite. 🙂 Good luck, Renee’Maggie Cummings

Hi all…I have been breeding Chesapeakes for color and temperament for years. Many from this group have received my hatchlings and can attest to their health and quality. I am currently taking indications of interest for hatchlings that will be ready to be shipped in Mid July. If you have an interest you can contact me at rcftx@… . I have pictures of past hatchlings to give you a very substantial idea of what these will look like.
