I have 2 rescued wild DBT females (adults) I’ve had since last August. They reside in a large brackish water aquarium which I keep at 1.17 – 1.20 salinity. They are doing great (after their initial baught of Shell Rot). I’d like to move them outside for the summer … into a freshwater setup/pond. I figure the natural sunlight will be best for them. I was intending to periodically bring them back inside for salt- water dips (a day or so). Thoughts? How many days would you keep the girls in freshwater and what should my concern be around shell rot at this point? Thanks
