Fresh Water

Hello I posted this question perhaps to early but I will try again. I recently read that diamondbacks need fresh water every few days to drink. I was further advised that a good regimen is six days fresh / one day brackish. Any thoughts from anyone? Thanks.
C.E., It seems the consensus is that fresh seems best all of the time. So far no has but Bob has posted that they keep their DBTs in brackish water. Have you tried keeping them in fresh only? Vickie
