My female has 3 spots on her shell. I believe they’re a fungus. One is on a coastal scute near the bridge. Two are on the plastron. The one on the coastal scute has a white spongy material. The two on the plastron are spongy but not white. I’ve put H peroxide on them to clean. I then used an over the counter product called RidRot. Am I treating this appropriately? I change the water monthly. I use Instant Ocean in the water. Any ideas? JC
What is the specific gravity of your water? If it is low, perhaps boost it up 1.015 – 1.017 and that should cure it in my experiences. ,Jason — bornjc1971
