#ygrps-yiv-1892069292 p {margin:0;}#ygrps-yiv-1892069292 p {margin:0;}Here is the summer concert series at the Niles Town Plaza. It is a great deal, since it is free, and the parking is easy. The only thing is that there is not much shade, and you can’t put in stake umbrellas. However, there is lots of room on the lawn, and you can bring other type of portable shade to set up around the outside edges. There are some shade tents set up by the merchants, open to anyone, if you get there early. (Or you can just wear a hat!) There are box lunches for sale by the main street merchants, too, and Mr. Mikey’s is a great deli. The music goes from 1pm to 4pm, with the first band listed playing last, (as it is the “headliner”), with sometimes Michael McNevin playing in between. I love the Royal Dueces, and Wooster, though we’ll be out of town for Wooster. I haven’t seen the other bands, but so far, Michael has always lined up quality performers. Really, it’s been quite impressive!Often, we don’t make it to the whole show, but just bring the Sunday paper to see some of it. Hope to see you on one of the Sundays, if you feel like dropping by!KateFrom: “giulietta63”
