Well, so I finally got a pair of diamondbacks (cute little guys) and have them in my small tank until the 75gallon is ready. They are about an inch and a half long, and feeding voraciously on the reptomin. I will have pics of them as soon as my friend lets me borrow his digital camera. I ended up building a stand from scratch, which, by my estimates can hold about 2000 lbs or more. Needless to say, my 700ish gallon tank is more than secure up there :-). The only other questions that seem to come to mind at this point are what are some other things which are a good thing to feed to dbacks at this size, are there any dietary supplements that I should worry about, and what is a good way to get them calcium (I was thinking mixing in crushed coral with the tank substrate)? As always, your wise advice is always appreciated!! (you guys know who you are :P) -Dan

It should be in the Reptomin, but for additional calcium you can either get gut-loaded crickets or you can buy some cuttlebone (for birds) at the pet store, remove the metal clip and remove the hard backing with a knife (be careful!). Then you can break the cuttlebone into smallish chunks and they will hit on it… Walt —–Original Message—– From: bfd27 [mailto:bfd27@…] Sent: Thursday, June 13, 2002 6:50 AM To: diamondbackterrapins@yahoogroups.com Subject: [diamondbackterrapins] Got Turtles?
