Paul, I don’t usually post in this Group, I just read all the posts but I was interested in your terrapins condition. The pics although blurred don’t look good to me. I wouldn’t think it was shedding. My main concern was your statement that before they were positioned where they got 10 to 12 hours of sun a day. To clarify something….unless the sun shines directly into the tank, not through a window or tank, as the tanks can heat up very quickly from sun, the sun does no good. Uva and uvb don’t go through glass. You need the special flourescent bulb for reptiles that. I would even recommend the 5.0 Zoo Med bulb. I have added regular salt(uniodized) to mine when I first got some of them as they had sores and some scute damage and it worked very well. I have also used Gentian Violet on shell damage. It can be purchased at a pharmacy. I’ve had good results with it. Seems to be for fungal things. The turtles must be dri docked before and after the treatment though. I left mine for about a day or two after I treated them. Good luck woth them. Beckee
