I have to clean my tank every 2 weeks because it is by the window and the sun turns the water green and one suggest anything to help It is a 55 gallon tank filled half way. I have only one turtle in it rather large female. I do feed in tank but there is never any thing left when my fatty gets done I do clean the filter 2x’s a week. and scoop out any debris. Can any one help.
There’s really no way to avoid the algae unless you restrict the tank’s exposure to sunlight. Polyester quilt batting in the filter may offer a limited solution. -Chun — In diamondbackterrapins@yahoogroups.com, “maryann”
