I’m going to repost this question, in the hope that someone will respond. Perhaps it didn’t post the first time. Anyway, I’m a little nervous about my eggs. OK I have another question re: my terrapin eggs They are now about 9 weeks old. Out of curiosity I remove some dirt off of the eggs and touched one. It feels soft, not hard like a chicken egg. Is this normal? Is this a problem? Any responses will be greatly appreciated, thanks.
Matt, Terrapin eggs don’t ever get as hard as chicken eggs. What color are they. The eggs should be white to light pink. At nine weeks they should be hatching any time. Good Luck Jonathan The Scute Moderator http://www.geocities.com/diamondbackterrapins
